History
Ridiculusmus began in 1992 with us (Jon Hough and David Woods) and Angus Barr. Then there were four, then five, then four again, then the original three, then just us two.
The work has always been the expression of our artistic urges at the time rather than being the pursuit of any particular agenda. Though individual pieces often offer particular provocations or philosophies our working method is about creating the nothingness where expression can take place.
We created an articulation of our methods ARSEFLOP in 1999 after 7 years of development:
