The Third Policeman

1925Premiered at Aras na nGael, London in 1992 and touring in repertory until 1997. The Third Policeman is a novel by Flann O’Brien that we adapted for the stage as a promenade show for 3-7  actors. Lighting effects were created by the audience with bicycle lamps they brought along in exchange for a glass of something resembling “The Wrastler”, a brew mentioned in the book.  “Is it about a bicycle? No.  Are you sure?….. in that circumstantial eventuality there can be no question that you are man out after rabbits”
